EN-1 amplifier enclosure -request only

The EN-1 amp enclosure has been designed to mount a 1296 cavity made by KD5FZ with a power supply and possible water cooling also included in the enclosure. The enclosure consists of a steel angle base frame with 4 adjustable feet, floor pan and a bolt in cavity mount. Also blank front and back panels, bolt in shelf and top/side perforated cover panel complete the assembly. The panels all screw together so they can be removed easily for modification ( meters, switches, access holes, ect. ) and everything inside is accessible with the cover off. The customer is responsible to layout and mount all components prior to wiring and tuning. The frame and cavity mount are painted semi flat black. The front, back, floor pan, shelf and cover are natural aluminum. The enclosure dimensions are width: 16 inches, length:16 inches and height: 10 inches. Other cavities and mounts can also be fitted to work in this enclosure size. Presently I am fitting a mount for a GI7B S57UUU cavity design. |
| This is my GS15 amplifier layout, it will be a driver for my GS23 amp and therefore will not be used as a high power amp and therefore the on board cooling system should be adequate for this application. The reservoir is a 1 gallon bottle feeding a 205 gph little giant pump through the tube and around to a computer radiator/ fan unit and flow indicator on the front panel. A higher power cavity can have the cooling hoses fed thru the back panel to a remote large cooler. The Plate/ filament/bias transformer shown is from Ameritron and the additional transformer supplies the screen voltage. The top shelf has the hv p.s. components and there is room to mount the G3sek tetrode control and bias boards. Any style of meters and components can be installed on the front and back panels. |  |

This close-up of the mount shows the simple
and strong method used to secure the GS15 cavity. It would be possible to
mount a pair of cavities along with the supply in the enclosure for eme
contacts with an external cooler. I can give estimates to mount additional
items like meters, switches, transformers and other components as well as
